This Super Rugged 5" by 5" bezel with 27 switch positions consists of a lower, all aluminum touch sensor plate with an upper tactile overlay. The overlay includes backlighting and stainless steel snap domes for tactile feedback in noisy, high vibration environments.

After a successful conclusion to extensive testing, including catapult take-off and trapped landing, production is planned for the Fall of 2005.
